concern for three-dimensional form revealed through light, atmosphere and

Nielsen (845)485-3149; geminiriver@verizon.net
Stones
from river and sea shores are collected and hand painted using acrylics.
They've been worn by natural forces – no polishing has been necessary. Shapes often suggest themes resulting in pieces
that combine sculpture and painted artwork celebrating saints, women and
children, dancing, drumming, humor, and nature. Many are small enough to be made into pins. Others are framed in shadow boxes. Some
become "pocket icons".
Prices range from $12 to $250.
These make wonderful gifts for special events in life and commissions
are welcome. |
