HVAG Challenge Event Spring 2007

This is a new event sponsored by the Hudson Valley Artisans Guild. You must be a member of the HVAG to participate. If you are not, click here for a membership application.

Event Date: March 15th-18th, 2007

 Poughkeepsie Plaza 

Time: 

 Mall Hours 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (Sunday 12-4)

Rules:

 

 One or two pieces of your own manufacture may be submitted. Please include the price of your work, even though no direct selling will take place. Please write up an artist’s statement to go with your work, telling the public something about yourself, your work, and this piece of artwork. Include your craft show schedule and/or stores where your products may be purchased, we will post this information with your entry. Bring business cards and brochures for handouts when you drop off your work. Please consider demonstrating some aspect of your work while you are booth-sitting, as this adds considerable appeal to an exhibit.

Fees/Requirements:

 

 The event is free to members. Membership fee required, if you are not up to date. Every artist participating is requested to sit for a set number of hours.

ONLY HANDMADE WORK OF YOUR OWN MANUFACTURE WILL BE ACCEPTED.  It is understood that contracts are not transferable and are valid for only those whose names appearing on the original contracts.  It is understood that the Hudson Valley Artisans Guild, or the Poughkeepsie Plaza will not be held responsible or liable for damage to property or loss through theft, breakage, fire, or any other cause whatsoever or for any injury to patrons caused by the vendor.
