2008 Application

The Hudson Valley Artisans Guild is a non-profit organization of artists and craftspeople whose mission, in part, is to promote handcrafted work

throughout the Hudson Valley through various events and venues. The publicity for this event will include newspapers, magazines, websites,

flyers, posters, signs, and road banners.

Date: Saturday, November 1, 2008

Where: Spackenkill High School, Poughkeepsie, NY

Time: 10 am to 4 pm

Set Up: Friday, October 31, 6pm - 9pm, & Saturday, 7:30am to 9:30am

Jury: Juried - 4 photos, slides, or CD of your work, and 1 of your display must be submitted

with your application.

Fees: Guild Members: $75.00, Non-Members: $85.00 for a 10’ x 10’ space,

Guild Members: $50.00, Non-Members: $60.00 for a 4’ x 8’ space.

Electric (limited availability): $10.00 (300watt limit)

Tax Number: Tax numbers are mandatory and sales tax must be collected.

Deadline: July 15, 2008 application deadline, notification will be by August 15. 2008

Admission: $4.00 to benefit the Spackenkill PTA

Single media artists will be given preference. ONLY HANDMADE WORK OF YOUR OWN MANUFACTURE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Your display

must be up to professional standards - tables covered to the floor, crafts in a neat and professional manner within space boundaries. It is understood

that contracts are not transferable and are valid for only those whose names appear on the original contracts. It is understood that the Hudson Valley

Artisans Guild will not be held responsible or liable for damage to property or loss through theft, breakage, fire, or any other cause whatsoever or for

injury to patrons caused by the vender.
